 Hi all, we’ve finally made it to the home stretch of The Walking Dead!  (Granted, one commercial break teased all that’s coming in their TV universe)  I’ve made no secret I’ve been ready for this to end for awhile, now I just hope they do it right.  Some early call-outs in this premiere gave me hope, but we’ll see if they can stick the landing.  I’ll see you in the comments to hash out the final 8 episodes!

The Walking Dead: Season 11 Episodes 1-8 (Discussion)

Hello fellow Walkers!  I can’t believe the day has finally come but it has (sorta).  The start of the FINAL season of The Walking dead is here.  Only thing is, it’s the first of 24 episodes over a 2 year period or something like that.  In any case, I’ve dragged my feet for the past few seasons of this show wondering if they’d ever announce an end date.  And it seems to be the push I needed to sick with it to the end.  Now, I’ve abandoned recaps because I just don’t have the time to commit to it anymore.  But, I still love a good discussion.   So feel free to drop in your thoughts with each of the upcoming 8 episodes in 2021.  See in you the comments!

The Walking Dead: Season 10 Episode 1 - Lines We Cross

Hello friends!  Here we go again.  I’m going to try to start this season optimistically, but it’s tough when you hear comments from people close to the show that we may be on season 10 of a potential 20 of The Walking Dead.  Since we last discussed in recap form, the source material that the show draws from has reached its sudden conclusion.  One might have thought that would signify that the flagship show in the growing TWD empire would be heading towards its own end game.  The message from the show stuff is that we may just be getting started.  I’m gonna be straight with you.  I do not share this sentiment.  My long winded recap days are far behind me and this show is outlasting my patience!  But, I also ain’t a quitter!  I like to see things through.  So, I’ll keep playing this game of chicken with the show and we’ll see who comes out on top.  I still do enjoy our discussions. Honestly, if it wasn’t for that I would’ve given up on this awhile go.  But, besides this lengthy opening preamble, my comments will probably be brief.

So all of that said, it was a decent opening episode.  Lots of similar themes revisited but it set the stage of what’s going on everywhere in the aftermath of The Storm and the Border agreement.  Let’s dive in!

Hello friends and we finally made it to the end of season 9!  Winter has come to The Walking Dead and there definitely isn’t too much to talk about.  Most of the craziness happened last week and we had some fallout and some setup for the war/season to come.  Will I be there still writing?  Well that’s a mystery that can be debated until October!  In the meantime, let’s dive in to the highlights.

The Walking Dead: Season 9 Episode 15 - The Calm Before

Hello friends and welcome back for our discussion of the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead Season 9.  Now, I’m not sure if I’m ready to give my “WOW” certified rating for the episode, but I will say WOW in terms of shock value for the final sequence.  Most shows these days try to pull out the big stops in the episode(s) prior to the finale and this certainly went for that.  I’ve come to learn that the moment of moments is a key moment in the comic series as well with mostly different characters involved.  Anyway we’ll get there.  All in all, a crazy episode!
