Legends - how bizarre that I watched that end of last week where they are heading to Paris for a bombing and then it happened for real. Wow.

Scandal - watched the one from 2 weeks ago (but not last week's yet) and damn Olivia ! She's just taking over the white house.

Supergirl - heard they are not airing the one scheduled for tonight due to it being about bombs going off around the city but are airing next week's one instead.

Wicked City - cancelled. It was actually not that bad of a show but apparently the rating were just horrible.

Legends - Yep I wonder if that will get preempted too. World is a sick place sometimes!

Scandal - She has the Oval! lol

Supergirl - Heard that too

Wicked City - I thought the ratings were decent for the premiere, but the critics panned the show BADLY. I know Doc Jensen resulted to childish insults to say how bad it was. lol But I didn't watch any of it!

Wicked City - not saying the show was fabulous but was pretty dark for a cop show. I loved the 90's music and fashions I geuss. LOL

Gotham - finally watched from last week - actually liked it. Been not loving this show lately. But Cra Cra Barbara was alot of fun. And both Barb and Lee calling him on his crap was fun too. But seriously Alfred - you were gonna let this kid sign his company over ? Isn't he Bruce's guardian ??

Blacklist - loved poor Cooper's wife reactions to the guy in the garage. And it's our Patchy from Lost (forgot that for some reason) Stuff with Samar's brother was nuts! Had no idea she was Iranian - assumed jewish since she worked for Mossad. But Soloman letting the director purpsely torture him was really what was nuts.

LEgends=--Wow, I totally forgot about the Paris bomb deal. That is crazy.

Blacklist--How about Samar and Ressler kissing at the end?

Blacklist - This is how far removed I am from this show at this point. I just read your comment Richard and didn't even care that I spoiled myself! lol

Gotham - Maybe Alfred was testing Bruce to let him make the decision on his own?? lol Either that or sloppy writing. :) But yeah, I'm still enjoying the show this season. I don't expect much from it either though!

ONCE - Still watching this one but only halfway through the 2 hour episode (because of the AMAs next week). I know no one watches anymore but I'm just bringing it up because it's my excuse of why I haven't seen GRIMM yet.

Grimm - See my ONCE explanation. lol

Game of Thrones - Careful out there. Ian McShane just may have let a spoiler out there when talking about the character he's going to play. I mean, nothing we haven't already considered but it certainly may cross the line into what you should be saying! (I saw a tweet which led me to TVLINE.com so that's where I saw it)

Of course McShane could know what he's implying but could mean something absolutely different.

Gotham - See? Galavan's arrest was all by design. lol And the monks have arrived. I wonder if this might be the start of a Ra's Al Ghul storyline. Probably not, but you never know. Episode was decent. Riddler/Penguin forming a bond as expected.

Legends - preempted as we suspected. I set a reminder to manually set my DVR next week as it probably won't record on its own.

Leftovers - Season has been really really good. It's starting to be the show I look forward to watching most each week. I call it the "Lindelof" effect. lol He's still got his fastball despite his naysayers.

Grimm - Started it, but still have more than halfway to watch. Like his new diggs. lol

MJ said...

Blacklist - yeah I was trying to remember if Samar and Aram were actually dating or just flirting and I couldn't be sure. Is't that the way we all relieve our life and death stress - hoping into bed with the first person there ? LOL

Grimm - LOL - the new place is horrible ! Him and Adalind are kinda cute right now - sure it won't last. I thought for sure that they would find/found some sort of Wesen Foster Care.

MJ said...

Grimm - do not read until you have finished. I was confused by the end. The guy who met with Renard is Resistance - and he is the one that worked with Nick's mom to keep Adalind's kid safe. The we see he has Trubel - so was the Chavez Resistance ? And if Chavez was willing to work with Nick why are they still holding Trubel ?

Fargo - got behind on this so watched 2 eps last night. Any one else watching ? Man - had to see Tighe from BSG's butt again ! Didn't we suffer through that in BSG one time ? LOL But that was one heck of a childhood Dodd had. Knew sending his nephew was a mistake. Can't believe that they did not sweep out the fireplace after buring the clothes ! And waht was Hanzee doing when he ws bent over finding that glass ? Was he having a vision - or seeing that weird UFO from the first episode? Did he lose time ? Loved that young Molly drew the UFO - but no idea what it meant. But now the bodies start dropping ! I swore the Kitchen Bros were both dead in that field - was shocked to see one later. Almost fell off my seat when the scene started with that local guy's head getting half blown off.
And the Butcher shop scene was great.

Fargo - I've been recording and have heard great things but not watching. We watched a few of season 1 during this summer but never finished. I know each season is totally different so maybe I'll dive into this one eventually!

Legends--it makes sense to delay

I've been saying it's probably a Ras Agul deal ever since he called him father or similar. But, likely probably wrong-lol.

Grimm - I think it was intended to be confusing. At least we know who's behind that door now. I know I mentioned at it after the first episode I thought they were hinting that Juliette may still be alive. lol But still...with it being Trubel, it seems like that was the obvious choice of who it would be. Why go ahead with all the mystery of not showing who is behind the door!?

It seems like eventually we're going to see Team Nick working with this crew to take on the royals or another threat. But, at the beginning of any new alliance, there has to be trust issues, right!? lol

Last night was comedy night in our house: Grinder, Muppets, Last Man on Earth. All pretty funny! But I was also pretty tired too! Grinder is definitely my favorite new comedy of the season.

Bastard Executioner - Just saw this was cancelled. Sorry Richard!

Mike V. said...

More Info including Kurt Sutter's statements. He agreed with cancelling it. http://tvline.com/2015/11/18/bastard-executioner-cancelled-fx/

Homeland - Wow - Carrie has an asset from the past who was happy to see her ! Has that ever happened ? I don't trust her boss Otto.
Finding it hard to believe that Saul is this dumb about Allison - and did he really say he was defecting to Israel ? That doesn't sound right. Something else is afoot I think. Could Dar and Saul be working an op on Allison ? And are they saying that the reason Allison is betraying her country all because she loves the excitment of being a double agent ? Yikes. Though the actress did a fabulous job - she literally looked like she'd been kicked in the gut and was going to be sick.

iZombie - Mike your summer homework this year should be to catch up on this show. Nothing has been as snarkalicious since Buffy. They actually used the line "help me zombie-Wan Kenobi - you're our only hope". LOL And the actress does almost as good a job changing her personality as the chick from Orphan Black who's name I can't spell.

Bastard Executioner - Sorry Richard - heard they got the axe ! LOL Get it ? Very bad - I know.

Grimm - funny - I never considered Juliet could be alive or behind the door.

Grinder - am woefully behind. I only just watched the Brooklyn 99 halloween ep. I think Life in Pieces is my fave new one. But Goldbergs and Modern Family are def my fave old ones. And Mindy.

Bastard Executioner--it was too advanced for most. I mean if you studied history it was amazing, if not you were probably a lost pup. I have not seen a single recap/review that understood what was going on. For example, they totally missed the ich liebe dich(German for I love you) said from the Templar Dad to his son, the main protagonist before his death! So, they missed the most important clue which confirmed the guy as his father! The show never had a chance for the average viewer. I bet most of the reviewers don't even know where Germany is. The idea of Jesus basically being oversold by the Church was maybe a turnoff for some, but that didn't really hit until the last 2 to 3 eps. The finale was great and really wrapped a lot of things up. I think maybe they were preparing for a cancellation?

Grinder--my wife and I really like this show.

Richard

Life in Pieces - Actually heard good things about that one too. Too much television!!!

B.E. - Maybe they knew the writing was on the wall. But if it was all written ahead of time, I'm sure they wrote it so it could stand on its own as one season with a few loose threads to continue.

Homeland - WAYYYY behind on this one. Maybe we'll catch up mid-season if we have some time.

Shield - not a bad ep. Glad the chick from ATCU isn't really a baddie. Glad Fitz/Simmons fianlly talked about the Gorilla in the room. And loved the twist that the astronaut was from Hydra and that May's husband might be sent.

Limitless - back to being silly fun. I can't believe he's going to tell his dad though !

Mike V. said...

SHIELD - Yeah, I knew there was a twist happening there with Hydra, but I wasn't convinced the astronaut KNEW he was part of Hydra. I guess that makes sense. Missed that they might send Lash (slash/rash/cash?? aka blair underwood) there. lol

Blacklist--Big changes this ep. Almost a reset now that Liz is in custody after REd's miticulous plans being blown up. And with this being what I call a qurter finale it's probably appropriate. Dembe's also in custody so Red will have to find some additional assets to help. Liz will be targeted. Did not see that the blonde was going to kill the black girl. And the pic on the refrig shows why they hugged. Show's the commitment to the cause of the cabal.

Sleepy - good episode. But we all know Abby will be back. LOL

Didn't get to watch much else.

Billions - new show coming to Showtime. I think January. Has some interesting cast - Damian Lewis, Paul Giamatti, Maggi Schiff (SOA) and Malin Akerman. Looks pretty good.

MJ said...

Scandal - EW online totally spoiled last night's ep. I am so ticked. Right on the home page they state what happened that was so shocking. Every other site I've been to today was capable of NOT spoiling in the main page. I hate EW any more. The tried to make a comment using my Disquis and now they want to email me to verify ? too annoying.

Mike V. said...

Scandal - I didn't watch either and EW's tweets spoiled it for me! I'm right there with you. The grace period is very short these days! I guess because it was so controversial they couldn't sit on it.

Billions - I think I saw previews for that as well. Vinyl on HBO looks promising too.

Sleepy - I have 10 more minutes to watch. Working from home so I might be able to fit it in! lol
