Silicon - agreed on both counts. The show is still hilarious. Didn't miss Ehrlich.
Manifest - Yeah ratings were good for a premiere these days. NBC has crawled its way out of the ratings basement and can actually launch shows again. Looking forward to The Good Place premiere!
AHS - agreed.
Sinner S2 - Never got started with it. Haven't had time, but good to hear it's good!
Shameless - The PTA meeting was hilarious. I don't think we had to know if Frank had them or not...it's not surprising that he does and made it very funny when basically every one of the women had slept with him. lol
This is Us - 3rd season in and still great! Cool to see Rebecca and Jack's first date. And 'tasia getting the gift and agreeing to be adopted. Here come the waterworks! Randall's wife (Forget her name) was the MVP in this episode...she had so many great moments with Randall and Kevin. And the Oprah stuff was great!
Manifest - Spoilers - I really liked it. Thought it was good. Don't know why the reviews were so tepid. I saw it coming after a bit but I liked that little twist that it wasn't the dogs they had to set free.
Manifest - Yeah it has a lot of potential. Definitely could have some LOST-ian flashbacks to flush out the different passengers' backstories. And it's interesting that they're getting the whole field of dreams commands whispered to them. lol
Saul - worried for Taco with that new Salamanca showing up. And Kim like being bad ? I mean - I knew she had some fun in the bar that time but wow. To me it really doesn't make sense how bored she is by Mesa Verde now. I know after her crash that she decided she can't kill herself over this job - but to actually dislike doing it now ? I dunno. Have always thought Jimmy will become Saul and Kim will leave him - but now I wonder if Kim is who brings him down that road.
Manifest - and the whispers are in their own voices !
Saul - yep, that's kinda what I'm thinking too. Kim might be the instigator. Somehow she needs to disappear. I don't necessarily think she has to die. I mentioned above that I think in the Cinnabon timeline that maybe this resolves with them reuniting.
Manifest - Ahh yes they are!
This is us - Still don't know who 'HER' is. Still betting Randall's mom or Beth. But why would Randall call Toby to come to see Beth ? Possibly Kate though. I forgot about the apartment. Hated it then - will probably not like that story this year. But Deja was wrong - it is precisely because until now she has had no choice - just like Randall - that they are alike. And now she has one to make.
AHS - just bonkers ! LOL
Behind on a lot already. Away the weekend. And sitting my nieces two nights again this week.
Sinner - def good - maybe not as great as first season.
This is us - BETH, that's the name! (was struggling to remember when I commented last week lol) I actually thought it might be Mandy Moore's character. Kate is definitely a possibility, but figured too obvious with the Toby thing. Interesting take on Deja...makes sense!
AHS - yeah it's crazy...was cool seeing the Coven girls show up. But, it's been so long since I watched Coven that I don't remember details. But Carrie Fisher's daughter definitely was not in that season....so something must've happened between coven and apocalypse that links them together. lol
GETTING BEHIND - it's bound to happen with me too. I'm still trying to finish Luke Cage (on ep 10 now I think?) then have to watch iron Fist....but I know the Arrowverse shows will be starting soon. lol That'll throw me off.
Good Place - Still funny! My whole theory of it not being Earth was shot down. lol Unless the Judge is playing a big game on Michael too and he's not in on it.
Good Place - still haven't watched. I've had to sit my nieces 4 times in two weeks - killing my tv time. LOL
Outcast - don't think any one watches but me here - but they cancelled it.
Murphy Brown - any one check it out ? I loved the show back in the day. The only re-do that I am watching.
Taped Single Parents and Cool Kids - haven't seen them yet tho.
Iron Fist is waiting til next summer. Daredevil coming soon. SIGH. Maybe over long t-giving weekend I can get to it.
Marvel - I am behind on the movies. Still not seen Fly/Wasp. Have to re-watch Ragnarok - cause I fell asleep during it. Don't judge me ! LOL Still haven't seen Solo either.
Sabrina - I can't wait for this one ! Newest trailer is just awesome.
Modern Fam - saw the 4th of July one. Still good.
Good Place - hey that's a family show. Make them watch! lol
Outcast - well that stinks. not even sure I ever heard of it! lol
Murphy - think I'm gonna pass on this one. I never religiously watched back in the day. But I had seen episodes. I'll probably check out the Connors just out of interest for how they're gonna swing it.
Single Parents/Cool Kids - nope...didn't even set the DVR! I'm just being realistic on time these days. lol But keep me posted. I can always find ways to catch up (hulu and all)
Luke Cage/Iron Fist/Daredevil - Still wrapping up Luke Cage. Danny Rand just showed up and is all happy and stuff. Kinda cheesy honestly, but I'll roll with it! lol
Marvel - AntMan/Wasp - it was fun. Not the best marvel outing, but far from the worst. The supporting cast steals the show! And the end credit scene is very important. Ragnaraok - I really enjoyed that one, but hey I'm the last person to judge people on falling asleep. I'm up at 5:30 every day and can barely make it to 11 now! lol We're not starting tv until usually 10! I may have to judge you on not seeing SOLO! So much better than the buzz around it. I just don't get it. BTW
Star Wars Live Action TV Series - Jon Favreau posted on Insta. It's going to be called THE MANDOLORIAN. It's basically a lone gunman type show set in the Post Return of the Jedi time frame. He'll wear a suit of armor like Boba Fett and Jango Fett...but there's no more information really. I'll never bet against Jon Favreau though...."who's the big winner???? MIKEY! MIKEY'S THE BIG WINNER!" (swingers reference) Who would've though mikey would go on to be one of the biggest writer/directors in the biz?
Sabrina - I know you're pumped for it. I just am too backed up on Netflix. Guess that's the beauty of Netflix...the shows ain't going anywhere. lol
Modern Family - Yep last night's was pretty good too. Is this the last season? Can't remember if they announced.
Goldbergs - totally forgot to watch last week but binged the 2 eps last night. Still funny. I still joke with my wife that every episode follows the same formula...so at the halfway point I say, 'this is the point in the episode where things are looking really down and it doesn't look like there is any way they're going to resolve things!' Then by the end it's one big happy family! lol
Good Place - finally watched the premier. Was good - forgotten how much I'd missed it. I like Eleanor helping Chidi with his new girl. I never actually bought that they had feelings for eachother.
Manifest - continues to be good I think. Over the wife having a secret boyfriend thing already though. And I saw it cominga mile away who actually stole the jewelry. Felt so sorry for Cal - all he wanted was the toys he left behind when he went on vacay. And who the heck shot the woman who went to the media ? I know - we are supposed to wonder. LOL
Outcast - yeah - no one has. LOL Probably why Max cancelled it.
Oops - Ant man - not Fly . Too funny
Modern - I hope not ! But I think they were talking it might be. I know they are supposed to have a big death this season
Gbergs - definitely have a formula. I just love the references.
Good Place - I think they're still playing the long game with Eleanor/Chidi. Based on what we've seen in the first 2 seasons I'm pretty sure they're trying to sell that they do have feelings for each other. Especially when they went through the various cycles of "the good place" and in a majority of the scenarios they ended up together. That show is definitely worth a rewatch on Netflix. I did it at the end of last season because I couldn't get enough. lol
Manifest - Didn't Prince Charming (i'll never remember the new names lol) already find out about the wife with the secret boyfriend? I thought once they went to the storage locker his daughter pretty much implied it. But yeah there will still be the whole "I'm in love with 2 people and don't know what to do" thing going on lol Yeah don't know who shot the woman...I smell CONSPIRACY! lol
MF - My first instinct with the death would be Phil's dad. He's a big enough character for it to be an impact, but he's not part of the main cast. But yeah if it's a main cast member that would get really interesting.
Gbergs - definitely agree...you don't watch for the formula...you watch for the references and Beverly. lol They're all funny but she's definitely the standout!
