Grimm--I'm so sick of this stuff with Nick. I mean the conversation of him sleeping with Juliette but her not looking like herself was SO STUPID! The Adalaind stuff felt like Alice in Wonderland, I'm over that too.

Grimm - Yeah, but you totally called the "make Nick a grimm again" scenario. lol As for the delays...yep that's just part of the game. Same as Blacklist. These are 22 episode network shows that will milk their ongoing threads while focusing on the "CASE OF THE WEEK". It's all for the syndication game. Grimm should be getting pretty close to 100 episodes and being available for syndication rights. Usually happens in season 5. I forget if we're in 4 or 5 lol

Grimm - I think Nick havig to sleep with his fiance while she looks like another woman is hysterical. I def did not see it coming that there would be three of those other types of Wolf. however - no surprise that some vesen are going to cause trouble with Rosalee and Monroe crossing breeding lines.

Grimm - Wait, weren't there 4 in the end? lol I definitely didn't see it coming that there would be more than 1, let alone more than 2!

And yep, no surprise on the Monroe/Rosalee front.

And yeah, I think the Nick/Juliette thing is hilarious too. I thought that conversation that they all had was comical too and in line with a lot of other silly conversations they've had on the show.

Fell behind on a couple shows last week so we need to watch the Mid-Season finale of Scandal and Homeland from last night. With the holiday weekend there's no telling when we'll get to it all. (before Disney is all I can say! lol) I'm actually glad Sons took a week off because we need a break! (even if it means the finale airs when we're gone!!)

Grimm--there were 4 altogether, didn't see it either. I kind of wondered about two though. And no surprise on the Monroe/Rosalee front either. Although the cross like burning deal was I think in poor taste given Ferguson stuff or just in poor taste period.

I have laughed during several parts of the last few eps.

Grimm - I love how they're stretching out the Wu stuff too. They just keep saying "we have to tell him" and then don't. Just do it already! lol

Grimm - maybe it was 4. lol. i was tired friday

Scandal- i had no ideai was 2 behind but I just watchedthe one where they try to take down Rowan and Rowan has the whole swat team killed! Wholly unbelievable but horrible. Bout time Olivia wanted dad gone. Huck is just ridiculous - stalks his kid then takes him on stake out? Really?

LOTR - have my annual lotr marathon with my extende editions. So not too much catching up over the holiday

Flash--Not bad. The deal with the wheelchair guy being bad is most interesting.

Scandal - The show is definitely over the top ridiculous but it's entertaining! The mid-season finale was good. But I'll withhold my thoughts for now.

Homeland - pretty intense exchange and now they're invading the embassy? Kind of left Carrie and Saul's fate up in the air too, but I'm sure they're fine. 2 week break for this one too. Yikes...I was hoping most of these shows would be over by the time we go to Disney. Fortunately, we will not be in Disney for any Sunday. lol

Gotham-a great ep. The deal with Bruce and Selena was actually decent and Alfred is tough. The assassins should have been tracked and traced. What was that emblem on the silver box she took????

Was I the only one who thought Lovecraft was dead when he started talking. Especially disclosing info about Wayne stock.

Dent is such a snake. Loved the KMA by Gordon! How's the Arkham job going to work out??

Scorpion - quite alot of action and adventure in this one. Don't think that I believe that these poeple would be sent into a foreign territory with hostiles in the area - especially the chick with the kid - but it was a good episode. I liked his sister !

Sleepy - wow ! So much happened and so much was said. I want to watch again and hear that whole Ichabod/Headless conversation/argument. Felt like we were watching a mash up of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Sword in the Stone. They even had an ouroboros - so we all know what you thought at the moment Mike. LOL Both Abby and Ichabod were extra fierce with all the know true self and reasons they were on this journey. The usual comedy - Heads Up and Washington being a big fat liar, weather app.

Mike V. said...

No sleepy for me. I'll get to it before tomorrow.

Gotham - Yep, decent ep. Bruce/Selena stuff wasn't bad at all. But that actress that plays Ivy? Ouch!! I think she was reading cue cards or something. Wasn't too shocking that Lovecraft was a dead man.

I'm sure Gordon's stint in Arkham will just give him more resolve to clean up the corrupt police force and prepare him more for the insane villains to come. The KMA was a good time.

Scorpion--was really good, maybe. I didn't see the end and had to google because of the news interruption. Paige leaving her son behind and not seemingly worried about making it back was strange. AGree on liking the sister.

I find it VERY odd about what they do and yet have received no training. That's not the DOD, CIA, DHS or any other alphabet org way. Some basic survival skills, self defense, etc seems appropriate. I guess the show runners want to keep the comedy through ineptitude. BUT as we all know, a little training still leaves you a long way to go.

Scorpion - all true. But its a tv show and I don't think they are trying real hard to be realistic

MJ, LOL, you know me well enough by now, I just can't help myself about relating to the real world. Especially as it relates to Military and Ops and Hollywood writers.

Many times I do better with SciFi/Fantasy so there's no reality component for me to consider--lol.

ONe reason I've kind of backed off on analyzing Blacklist so intensely. Those writers don't know a lot either.

ONe thing that drives me nuts on almost every single show are the explosions. WAY TOO MUCH fire and smoke for almost any explosion(except maybe a refinery or fertilizer plant). It's all done for visual effects. I think if some TV viewer were to be around the real thing they'd be shocked how little of the visual stuff they're used to seeing is there, but very surprised about the debris/shrapnel, smell and shockwave. Three things in an explosion make it deadly--heat, shrapnel/debris and shockwave.

Richard

Mike V. said...

That'll all be fixed when we get SMELL-O-VISION! :-)

Smell o vision--LOL. Yea, with the woofers we get some vibration to help simulate a sound wave. Seriously though the shockwave of an HE explosion is amazing too.

Flash--So is Wells all bad for killing the mother? With the future computer(Gideon) he seems to be trying to head off the death of Earth? Interesting that the Flash is missing in a future crisis for the Earth.

I'm beginning to think he targeted Barry to become the Flash. But then why does he want to be able to take away the Flash's power? After he wants to increase the Flash's power.

Sleepy - So MJ, did you get breaking news cutting in to your Sleepy Feed as well? It only lasted a couple minutes, but then my DVR cut off the end of the episode. So, I had to switch to Apple TV and boot up the FOXNOW app and fast forward all the way to the end of the episode to catch the end! #FirstWorldProblems :-)

Episode was really good. All the trial stuff and the gorgan/Medusa creature was good stuff. Flashbacks were good.

But I gotta say, I'm pretty confused what you're associating with the ouroboros that everyone would know what I was thinking! I certainly wasn't and don't even remember seeing it in the episode! lol

Funny you got Raiders...I was thinking Last Crusade with choosing the Grail (sword). I kept wanting someone to say, "That's the Cup of the carpenter!" or "only the penitent man shall pass!" lol

Did some googling on ouroboros in conjunction with ABC LOST and saw that Eloise Hawking wore a pin with that symbol...but I gotta say...I totally forgot! lol

mj said...

Sleepy - too funny you forgot the ouroboros. We were all so positive it represented the time travel or time looping. Yeah last crusade had the grail true but somehow it being stuck took me to Sword in the Stone and being in the cave to Raiders. But a cave really could point to any of them. lol. i knew they'd be breaking in so taped extra 30

The best blatant errors are hearing exposions and ship fly by in space

Have a happy thanksgiving every one !

Mike V. said...

Sleepy - All good points! Raiders works too, and definitely sword in the stone.

It's all coming back to me on LOST. Wow, can't believe I'd ever forget some of the crazy details we discussed! I guess in hindsight, I remember mostly what answers they provided and the interpretation of the show after all is said and done. We threw a lot of theories at the wall. Of course, my favorite was that Sarah and Annie were the same person!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone as well!

Game of Thrones - Really quick teaser. But, a trailer should be coming soon....I think)

http://tvline.com/2014/11/26/game-of-thrones-season-5-teaser-video-arya-darkness/

The teaser refers to www.threeyedraven.com so maybe there will be an update there or something.

Star Wars Trailer - I live not far from Warrington PA, but not gonna be able to make it out to see it (even if we want to see Mockingjay)....so, I'm sure I'll catch a crappy one filmed with a phone on YouTube! :-)
